The new contraption started out as this perfect and fancy substitute for \u2018traditional smoking\u2019 and now we realize that it is not a dependable solution for anything as many thought. What\u2019s big money for some, is a big danger for us.<\/p>\n<p>Vapes (short for vapour) had become a substance that screamed \u2018COOL\u2019 and believe it or not \u2013 you\u2019ll find videos on the internet about \u2018Vaping Competitions\u2019 as well. How cool is that!!! Well, not so much if you pay attention!<\/p>\n<p>History backed by science says \u2013 \u201cAnything that seems too GOOD to be true\u2026 may not be GOOD at all!!!\u201d and similar is the case with Vapes. These devices have cartridges filled with liquid (also known as flavours) that have nicotine and other chemicals that is heated to create vapour, which is then inhaled by the user.<\/p>\n<p><em>Types of people who use Vape:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People looking to quit smoking<\/li>\n<li>People looking for an alternative to smoking<\/li>\n<li>People who just find it cool<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Let\u2019s have a look at the risks of Vaping:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Nicotine is an addictive chemical that can hamper the development of brain functions and narrow arteries.<\/li>\n<li>Still has a high risk of cancer. \u2018Electric\u2019 does not mean safe.<\/li>\n<li>Vaping leads to smoking and in extreme cases both are addictive.<\/li>\n<li>E-cigarettes are prone to faulty batteries that can explode at any point of time, thereby rendering them as unsafe.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to the liquid or flavours can cause nicotine poisoning<\/li>\n<li>Vaping can cause complications in pregnant women<\/li>\n<li>Breathing issues<\/li>\n<li>Nausea<\/li>\n<li>Unexplained weight loss<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Can you get addicted to Vaping?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>YES! Just like Cigarette, Vapes and e-cigarettes have ample amount of \u2018Nicotine\u2019, which is a highly addictive substance. Therefore, there is a very high chance that you will get addicted to it.<\/p>\n<p><em>How does Nicotine affect me?<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s referred to as \u2018kick\u2019 or a temporary \u2018high\u2019 that a smoker gets while using Nicotine. This is a temporary pleasure but leaves you craving for more and similar to tobacco, Nicotine also has withdrawal symptoms like anxiety and irritation. Extreme use of vaping can damage blood vessels due to high blood pressure and a hidden spike in adrenaline.<\/p>\n<p>Another reason why these products are worse than traditional cigarettes is: they contain more nicotine, thanks to the extra-strong flavours and cartridges you get to buy. Moreover, some smoking devices have the option of increasing the voltage to produce more smoke.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bottom Line<\/strong> \u2013 Our lungs are meant to inhale clean air and if you\u2019re trying to quit smoking then there are many other better ways to do that.
